Poker League week 2

After last weeks fun & games it seems I have brought my Online luck to the League.
My table was tougher than last week but still had some passive calling stations.
On the first hand one fool who had folded told the table he would have had a full house while the hand was still live (WTF)
His other idioy was with 100 chips left and a 3000 pot and trips wondered whether to bet (LOL)
I played a total of 3 hands in 3 levels.2 of those were from the big blind
I have played the guy in Sit and Goes before and he's not very good

My problem is a deposit in instant why does it take so long for a withdrawal.
Mansion and Poker770 take 96 hours but thats in their T&C's and is probably why I don't play there anymore

FA Cup 4th Round

Back to grass roots football for me and a new ground.
I got the train up to Kettering for the Fulham game.I found a decent pub near the ground (decent bar staff, big tits, quick service)and had a few beers with my mates and headed for the ground.
There was a massive queue to get in since there were only 2 turnstiles.I finally got in and looked forward to an afternoon on the terraces.
I know I'm getting old but terraces are not for me anymore I couldn't see all of the pitch and was surrounded by little chavs
I was near to our little firm sponsored by Clearasil ( I'm sure there voices haven't broken yet)who are a mouthy bunch of shits baiting the home fans.One got thrown out for god knows what and is now a hero to his little chums.
In the first half I saw our goal but couldn't see the first third of the pitch so missed Ketterings equaliser.
Before half time 8 old bill chucked out one of the little shits which was a bit heavy handed.
Things got much worst in the second half.
We got a lucky 2nd goal and I thought that was it but they equalised through a deserved Penalty.
By this stage the old bill were chucking lots of people out
Fulham were playing shit and I saw a replay loomong which would have been good for Kettering so they could make a bit of dosh.
Then AJ scored and I thought fuck it lets just get through
Then wonder of wonders Bobby Zamora scored a cracker and it was all over. 4 -2
Ouf first game post Bullard and we score 4 even if it was against Non league opposition
After the game there was more trouble which the old bill totally overreacted to.
They shut the local pubs and sent everyone off on the first available train.A bit like the old days

I have recovered from the last couple of days.Today i played freerolls winning 31c and a freeroll satelite which I qualified for another on Sunday.
I am still marginally in credit at 25/50c but i still want a rest from Sun.
As I have cashed out a bit I fully expect to encounter the Cash out curse.
I made lots of silly calls and didn't follow through cos I expected to be beaten.
I was just playing scared poker that whats happens after a 3 day losing streak.

This was the hand that sent me over the edge.
4x raise with KK called by a fish.Pot size on flop to discourage flush/ straight draws.
Get reraised so I reraise.he calls all in and i am up against the made straight.
Silly me and then I hit my 3rd king to give me some hope. ie 10 outs
Of course it didn't come.
And then the lucky fish tells me i should have raised more pre flop

My poker league

This started last night in my club It was predictable chaos.
The standard was pretty terrible v passive so got to see lots of flops
15 players 12 week league.
Top two get to play in a tornie at Luton.

As well as playing I had to tell some others what to do.
There's no doubt this is a pain.
The number of times I said Your Go Check,Raise or Fold I felt like a dealer which must be a horrible job.
As for the poker I won and got £25 and the points.
I always got my money in ahead and was only outdrawn once which was a novelty.
Best hand 87s V J something flop JJ10 he slowplays Final card 9 for my straight.He bets I raise he reraises i call TYVM.
All in all a good night and its nice to play live even if it is a mickey mouse torny

This time it hurt LAP rr and with his stack its worth a call. As the agressor I expect him to bet so I can check raise him all in but he doesn't.Turn card puts the flush on board so I pot it.He calls.
I am only 77% to win he has 9 outs to the flush and 2 more for the straight so I can't really blame him for calling.Of course he hits I make another stab and get reraised and put in a crying call.

In future I am not slowplaying Trips.
I got to learn that even mongwombles hit hands too.

£ buy ins down today so I think its time for a rest.

Tonight I am playing in a new Pub League thingy.
It could be interesting.

Today I am suffering from Tilt

I reread Harrington on cash Vol2 today and defy anyone to relate it to the 25/50 cent tables on ipoker.
I have been outdrawn,outbluffed,outthought and just plain unlucky too much.
I keep missing draws and can't seem to get into the head of my opponents.
I just don't know when to leave a hand alone
I am down 5 buy ins which is crap.

With NOIQ being booted off for rakeback payments I have signed up for Sunpoker.
My initial bonus is $500 payable $1 for 1000 points about 3/4 hour 4tabling 25/50c.
You also get FPPs of $1 for 1000 points payable in chunks of $5 minimum.
They put you on Mercury level (Level 4) for life to compnsate for the lack of RB so I'll see what happens.
